LL.B {Advocates/Lawyers}:


B.A. LL.B the course which provides rights to people for providing justice to common people. Lawyers play an important role for maintain rule & regulations in the Country. It is a respectable tag to be a lawyer. The duration of the course is of five years. After becoming Lawyer one has certification rights on various government documents and can present himself on behalf of Clients. They are regulated by the bar council of India

Admission Procedure:Std XII with Science, Commerce, Humanities/Arts, if you wish to get admissions in top colleges of National Law Schools of India University you have to prepare for CLAT entrance exams  whose exams are held every year.

Other way is by completing graduation and then going for LL.B which will take 3 years and after LL.B you can complete your Master’s Degree in Law LL.M in 2 years.

Work of a Lawyers:

We all are familiar to what lawyers do. Everyone has an idea that lawyers file suits as well as sent notices to party who is in default. But other than that lawyers have a huge profile to work on like they can work as government lawyer.

They can practice indirect tax and provide certification on documents of various regulatory bodies.

They defend their clients when their allegation made by other parties.

They have in depth knowledge of Criminal as well as Civil rights, so they can have specialization in many fields.

They also serve as legal head or corporate lawyers in Big Corporate Firms for looking the Due Diligence as well as compliance of legal laws.
They also work in areas of Intellectual Property rights such as Patents, Copyrights & Trademarks.


Employment Opportunities:

They can work in In the Judiciary, the lowest judicial cadre posts of Magistrate or Sub-Judge are filled up by recruitment through public service commissions or otherwise under the supervision of the High Court. Basic qualification for all these posts is  a degree in law(professional) , besides a degree in Arts / Science / Commerce etc. and the age limit  for all these posts is generally 35 years which is relaxable for special categories as per rules.

They are members of Consultancy firms, Law firms, Government Agencies, Multinational companies, Big Corporate Houses. They can also be appointed as Advocate General, Legal officers in banks and various others department as the Legal head
